If I were to be who I want to be

I would be the stars which observe, watch but never interfere. I would be the sunshine that can please without any effort. I would be an old lamppost that goes through storms and wars without changing very much. I would be a child who sees only present, forgets the past and knows no future. I would be the sun that shines all day no matter how many clouds pass before it. I would be the white rose in the picture on the wall that holds its beauty and innocence eternally. I would be a mother’s song to her baby, full of love, giving and caring. And then I would be the stars on a cool beautiful night and I don’t know why.

Stars in the eyes from the start to the end. Proud to have a handwritten version of this by the author herself back then... The souvenir of these lines is as clear and fresh as yesterday.
